Trivet collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no server of ours that your recipes are ever sent to.
Nothing. We operate no backend. Your recipes, your dinners and your shopping list are stored on your iPhone and are never transmitted to us. We cannot read them, and we could not hand them over if we were asked to.
When you share a page to Trivet from Safari, the page is already open in your browser. Trivet reads the recipe data the site publishes for search engines, from the copy your own browser has already loaded. Trivet does not fetch anything from that website itself, and it sends nothing about you — or about what you are cooking — anywhere.
If you paste a link instead, Trivet opens it in a web view on your phone exactly as Safari would. The request goes from your phone to that website; it does not pass through us, because there is no us to pass through.
When you photograph a cookbook page, the text is recognised on your device by iOS. The photograph is never uploaded, and Trivet does not keep it.
Trivet Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple. We never see your name, your payment details or your Apple Account. We only ask iOS a yes/no question: is this device entitled to Pro?
Trivet is safe for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Trivet will never quietly start collecting data in a future update.
